Yapının temelleri Bizans dönemine uzanır. Ceneviz kolonisi döneminde genişletilen ve Osmanlı idaresinde yeniden şekillenen mekân, her katmanında farklı bir medeniyetin izlerini taşır.
Tescilli tarihi eser statüsündeki mekânımız, özgün dokusu korunarak bugüne ulaştırılmıştır.
Kubbeli tavanları, taş duvarları ve tarihi dokusuyla Ceneviz Sanat, geçmişin ruhunu bugüne taşıyan yaşayan bir miras alanıdır.
Mekânın ortasında yer alan yaklaşık 1600 yıllık iki devşirme mermer Yunan sütunu, yapının antik katmanlarının canlı tanıklarıdır.

In the heart of Galata, this structure carries the legacy of Byzantine, Genoese, and Ottoman civilizations, standing as one of Istanbul’s most distinctive cultural venues with seven centuries of history.
The building’s foundations date back to the Byzantine era. Expanded during the Genoese colonial period and reshaped under Ottoman rule, the space bears the traces of a different civilization in each layer.
A registered historical monument, our venue has been preserved with its original character intact.

Two spolia Greek marble columns, approximately 1,600 years old, stand at the center of the space as living witnesses to its ancient layers.
